Communion is offered weekly
as it was during the first century.

They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and
to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.
                                                                  (Acts 2:42 NIV)

On the first day of the week we came together to break bread.
(Acts 20:7 NIV)

Love God:
As the first and most important core belief of Willow Oak Christian Church we remind ourselves that in every moment of every day we are to seek to love God in every action we take.

“Jesus replied, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.’” Matthew 22: 37-38

Love People:
With the first core belief in mind one can only respond by loving all those around them. When one first seeks to love God with everything they have, they will then seek to love like him. This means that we, at Willow Oak, seek to love God and love people like God Loves.

“And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:39-40

Serve Daily:
With love in our hearts for God and for all those around us we seek to then spend every day serving those around us in love. With this service we seek to further the Kingdom of Heaven. These three core beliefs are what makes Willow Oak Christian Church what it is.

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:19
